Aslı Ertem graduated from the Sociology undergraduate program of Middle East Technical University, one of Turkey’s leading universities, in 2008. After a long-term internship in the Human Resources department of Ernst & Young in the last year of her undergraduate education, she decided to continue her career in the field of Human Resources. In order to experience global business practices, improve her foreign language skills and realize her dream of living in a different country, she went to the USA in 2009 and received her MBA from Troy University.

Returning to Turkey in 2012, Ertem started her human resources career in the technology sector as the Human Resources Manager at Intel. Here, she was responsible for all human resources processes of Intel’s field sales team and at the end of two years, she decided to continue her career as the Human Resources Business Partner at Bilge Adam.

During her time at Bilge Adam, she played an important role in the establishment of the Talent Management unit. She took on the roles of Team Leader and Deputy Unit Manager, and achieved significant success in areas such as employee engagement studies, human resources analytics reports and monitoring the company’s R&D activities. After leaving her position there in May 2018, she worked as a recruitment consultant at an HR consultancy firm and worked for about a year and a half to help professionals at various levels and positions find their dream jobs and companies find the talent they were looking for.

Since 2020, she started working as a Senior HR & Technical Recruitment Consultant, LinkedIn Content Manager & Trainer and Senior Career Consultant within RC Group Human Resources and Career Consultancy Services. She actively works in all three brands of the company; she provides LinkedIn-focused different trainings and consultancy services with Linkedtips, Turkey’s first and only brand specialized in LinkedIn, while she provides career-focused services at an individual level with RecoverCV, helping people achieve their career goals, and providing IT-focused Human Resources Consultancy and talent acquisition services with Recruit IT. Ertem, who also holds an ICF approved professional coaching certificate, is an expert in technical recruitment, career counseling and effective use of LinkedIn.
